**Company overview**
We’re an early-stage startup building an AI product for healthcare providers in Georgia. Our platform helps clinics streamline high-frequency workflows and reduce administrative load by transforming unstructured clinical interactions into structured, usable outputs that fit existing operational processes.
We’re already in discussions with clinics and are moving fast toward pilot deployments.

**Why we’re hiring a CTO**
We need a hands-on technology leader to own the platform end-to-end: architecture, product delivery, engineering standards, and team-building. This is a building role, not a caretaker role — you will shape both the product and the engineering culture from day one.
**What you’ll do:**
**Technology vision & execution**
• Define the overall architecture (Web app, backend, infra, data layer, integrations)
• Ship an MVP fast, then harden and scale to multi-clinic deployments
• Own build-vs-buy decisions (AI stack, providers, cloud, tooling)
**AI product delivery**
• Build real-time and batch AI workflows depending on use-case
• Implement evaluation loops and quality controls (accuracy, reliability, monitoring)
• Optimize cost/performance and improve output quality through iteration
**Security & trust**
• Design access controls, auditing, encryption, and secure storage
• Establish policies and technical guardrails for handling sensitive data
**Ownership & Autonomy**
• Be hands-on initially, directly building and shipping
• Hire/mentor engineers and implement best practices (CI/CD, testing, observability)
**Ideal candidate profile**
• 5+ years professional software engineering experience
• Fully proficient in English and Russian
• Proven track record shipping production systems end-to-end
• Experience owning architecture and making pragmatic tradeoffs
• Comfortable in an early-stage environment: ambiguity + fast iteration
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• BSc in Computer Science / Software Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• MSc/PhD is a plus (especially ML/NLP), but not required if you’ve built and scaled real systems
**Strong plus**
• Experience with SaaS / B2B multi-tenant systems
• Experience with AI/LLM-enabled products (monitoring, evaluation, reliability)
• Experience building with sensitive or regulated data (healthcare/fintech/security)
**What success looks like (first 90 days)**
• MVP architecture finalized and a pilot-ready version deployed
• Quality measurement framework in place (evaluation + feedback loop)
• Security foundations established (RBAC, audit logs, encryption)
• Clear roadmap and hiring plan for scaling the engineering function
