**Job Description:**
MIGx is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Data and AI Engineering team. The role involves transforming raw data into actionable insights, uncovering patterns, and building data-driven narratives. The Data Analyst will work with cross-functional teams to design analytics solutions, create visualizations, and support evidence-based decision-making within life sciences projects.
**Responsibilities:**
* Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
* Build ETL pipelines and data transformations using Python.
* Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
* Collaborate with Data Engineers and Business Stakeholders to define analytical requirements.
* Create reusable data models and calculations in Power BI.
* Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical analysis using Python (pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn).
* Document data lineage, assumptions, and methodologies.
* Support data quality initiatives and identify data issues.
* Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Apply best practices for testing, version control, and documentation.
**Qualifications:**
* Hands-on experience with Power BI (creating dashboards, reports, measures, and data models; DAX knowledge preferred).
* Proficiency in Python for data analysis and manipulation (pandas, NumPy, matplotlib/seaborn).
* Experience with SQL for querying relational databases.
* Demonstrable data-driven mindset.
* Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
* Comfortable with exploratory data analysis and statistical techniques.
* Understanding of data visualization principles.
* Team-first mindset and experience in agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
* Professional working proficiency in English.
**Nice to Have:**
* Experience with clinical trial data, healthcare analytics, or regulated industry datasets.
* Familiarity with advanced Python libraries (scikit-learn, statsmodels).
* Knowledge of Git/version control.
* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
* Exposure to agile analytics methodologies or analytics engineering principles.
* Background with data governance, data quality frameworks, or master data management.
* Understanding of GxP compliance.
* Experience with Tableau, Looker, or other BI platforms.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.
