**MindFriend PRO** is seeking a **Digital Product & Technology Officer** to join their team in **London, UK**. This is a **Full-time, Permanent, Executive / Senior Leadership** role.
**About MindFriend:**
MindFriend is an innovative marketplace platform that utilizes the latest in web, app, and AI technology. The company is currently scaling its platform and is looking for a highly technical, hands-on engineering leader to take ownership of the entire tech stack. They are also developing advanced AI-driven mental health tools and an AI therapy platform.
**The Role:**
The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader and an expert builder. Responsibilities include defining the technological roadmap and AI strategy, auditing and testing technical work, and guiding the development team. This role is for someone who enjoys staying ahead of tech trends, building scalable marketplace architectures, and ensuring code quality.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead technology and product development strategy.
* Architect and oversee development of web platform, mobile applications, and AI systems.
* Build and manage engineering, AI, and product teams.
* Review technical work to ensure high-quality standards.
* Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and security.
* Oversee AI therapy platform and AI-assisted tools development.
* Define and implement the technology roadmap.
* Evaluate and adopt new technologies and AI innovations.
* Oversee cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and system performance.
* Ensure secure handling of sensitive health and personal data.
* Collaborate with leadership on product direction and technical strategy.
**Requirements:**
* **Platform & Architecture:** Experience with designing and scaling large-scale web platforms, marketplace architecture, API development, microservices, high-performance database architecture, and system scalability.
* **Web Development:** Strong knowledge of React/Next.js, Node.js or equivalent backend technologies, REST/GraphQL APIs, and secure authentication systems.
* **Mobile Application Development:** Experience overseeing development of iOS and Android applications, and cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
* **AI & Machine Learning:** Strong understanding of AI product development, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-powered recommendation systems, conversational AI, and AI integration. Experience building or scaling AI-driven products is highly desirable.
* **Video & Real-Time Communication:** Experience with WebRTC, telehealth, or video consultation platforms, and secure real-time communication infrastructure.
* **Payments & Marketplace Systems:** Experience with payment processors like Stripe, marketplace payment architecture, multi-currency systems, and payout systems.
* **Cloud & DevOps:** Strong knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure monitoring, and system reliability.
* **Security & Data Protection:** Experience with GDPR and privacy regulations, secure data handling, and platform security best practices.
* **Leadership Experience:** 10+ years in software engineering with senior technical leadership experience, team management, platform scaling, technical system review, and developer hiring/mentoring.
* **Ideal Background:** Preference for candidates with experience in marketplace platforms, digital health platforms, telehealth, healthcare technology, AI-driven digital products, and high-growth startup environments.
