**Location:** Alpharetta / New York
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Junior-Level Data Engineer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data collection, processing, and analysis.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Data Pipeline Development:** Design, construct, and maintain efficient data pipelines that transform raw data into usable formats for analysis. This includes establishing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
* **Data Infrastructure Management:** Manage and optimize the infrastructure for data storage and processing, ensuring high availability and scalability. This may involve using cloud services or on-premises solutions.
* **Monitoring and Troubleshooting:** Monitor data pipelines and infrastructure components, diagnosing issues and optimizing performance to ensure data availability and reliability.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
* Data pipeline development
* SQL
* Python
* Basic ETL concepts
* DB2
* REST APIs
* CoPilot
**Preferred Skills and Qualifications:**
* Hadoop ecosystem basics
* Familiarity with Kafka
* Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
