Ltd “Nikora” is announcing a vacancy for the position of **Chief Technical Officer**.
The officer`s working area combines two units:
** Technical;
** Information technology.
Main duties and work to be performed:
Technical direction:
** Receiving information about technical problems and responding accordingly;
** Controlling the correct use and operation of technical devices and equipment;
** Taking care of increasing the efficiency of the operation of technical devices and equipment;
** Monitoring/ensuring the proper functioning of engineering systems, equipment and technical devices at the company;
** Allocating and conducting planned and unplanned technical services and qualification/validation works of engineering systems and equipment to team members;
** Organizing and supervising repair works;
** Configuring and commissioning complexes of technical means of automated information/production systems and control systems, consulting users and participating in the mastering and further exploitation of equipment;
** Receiving requirement orders for technical devices and various types of equipment;
** Contacting the vendor conducting negotiations and agreeing on the best conditions;
** Determine and agreeing on delivery terms and schedules with manufacturers;
** Controlling financial settlements;
** Participate in the preparation of the construction project and calendar and provide relevant recommendations;
** Control of changes in project documentation during the construction process;
** Constant inspection of the facility and optimal and rapid resolution of emerging technical and engineering problems;
** Preparing reports based on the inspection of the facility and submitting them to management;
** Identification and elimination of technical risks in time.
Information Technology Direction:
** Monitoring the proper functioning of technical devices (e.g. computers, video monitoring equipment, Internet loggers, wifi routers, etc.) required for business processes;
** Controlling the progress of technical support processes (e.g. video system installation, office software installation);
** Monitoring the operation of information technology systems and networks;
** Coordination and control of the implementation stages by the supplier;
** Information storage, archiving and security monitoring;
** Solving problems during server and network shutdowns, and power outages;
** Ensuring the company-wide software support and periodic network/systems testing/monitoring;
** Ensuring the elimination of IT infrastructure failures and malfunctions;
Requirements for employment:
** Master`s degree in engineering and technical field (e.g. engineering and technical, physics, mechanics, electronics, electronic engineering, information technology engineering, etc.);
** 10 years of work experience, of which 5 years in managerial position in the relevant field;
** 2 years of work experience in the food production industry;
** Knowledge of computer programs (MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, Outlook, CAD);
** Knowledge of English – Fluent;
** Knowledge of Russian (speaking) is desirable;
** At least 2 years of experience working with engineering systems, equipment and automated systems;
** Intermediate knowledge of server technologies and infrastructure (Microsoft, Linux), experience in their management;
** Knowledge of database structure and hierarchy;
** Knowledge of network technologies and infrastructure management is desirable;
** Experience in implementing and developing IT projects or software is preferred
