**Job Description:**
Okta is seeking a Solutions Engineer, Alliances with a focus on Auth0 to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for growing Okta’s business through the Channel by working closely with partners, sales representatives, and marketing teams. You will build and manage technical relationships with key partners, including Global System Integrators, Distributors, and Technology Vendors, with a specialization in Auth0.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Serve as a trusted advisor to partners on CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) and Auth0 solutions.
* Help partners understand how Auth0 can fit into their Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and integrate with their existing offerings.
* Evangelize partner solutions within Okta’s field teams.
* Lead partners in building Okta practices to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
* Drive incremental revenue through increased CIAM solution sales with the support of strategic partners.
* Develop domain expertise and thought leadership in CIAM and Auth0.
* Gather and translate partner feedback to influence the Auth0 product roadmap.
* Deliver technical training sessions for partners on Auth0 features, best practices, and competitive differentiators, as well as Okta Customer Identity.
* Respond to technical questions and inquiries from partners.
* Maintain technical expertise on Okta products and technology.
* Provide guidance and assistance during the partner sales process.
* Up to 45% travel may be required for partner, Okta, and industry events.
**Key Performance Metrics:**
* Direct and influenced revenue growth.
* Partner-developed and driven CIAM-focused GTM solution offerings.
* Growth in partner enablement and resource certification.
**Qualifications:**
* 5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience.
* Understanding of the CIAM/IDaaS competitive landscape.
* Strong passion for partners and knowledge of channel business models.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills at a technical level.
* A passion for partner success.
* Experience with at least one standard network security protocol (OAuth, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, OIDC).
* Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: web development (JavaScript, HTML, frontend frameworks), mobile development (iOS, Android), backend development (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby), or IP-based real-time communications.
* Hands-on experience in cloud computing environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
* Confident in dispensing knowledge to a highly skilled audience.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a comparable field is preferred.
