An ambitious Israeli health-tech startup is on a mission to build a smart, digital, and affordable HMO in the US. The company is developing a comprehensive healthcare solution that combines medical services and health insurance, with a strong focus on reducing costs through proactive member health management.
Their platform enables members to easily manage their health through features like video consultations with doctors, prescriptions and referrals via the app, test result tracking, and more. The goal is to empower users with personalized insights that promote healthier lifestyles and allow early detection of potential health issues.
We are currently looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join their team and help build scalable, robust backend solutions. This role involves working on third-party integrations and API development, designing efficient data flows, and ensuring smooth interaction between internal systems and external platforms.
Core Responsibilities:
* Design and develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs
* Lead integration efforts with third-party systems through APIs and file processing solutions
* Build efficient data models and optimize database performance
* Create and maintain microservices architecture
* Implement comprehensive testing strategies including unit and integration tests
* Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and provide technical solutions
* Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team on system design, code reviews and shared implementation.
* Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of backend systems
Requirements:
* BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
* 6+ years of full-stack software development experience
* Strong proficiency in Python and Django (REST) framework
* Experience with PostgreSQL, database design and data modeling
* Experience with frontend technologies such as React.js, Vue.js or Angular.
* Experience with cloud platforms, particularly GCP services (incl. Cloud Run)
* Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and system architecture.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
* Working with containerized application.
* Fluent English and proven experience working in global teams
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Kubernetes (K8S) and containerization.
* Familiarity with security best practices for API and web development.
* Experience in the US healthcare industry or other regulated industry.
