Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
* Respond to queries.
* Train computer users.
* Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
* Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
* Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.
* Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
* Clean up computers.
* Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
* Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
* Install computer peripherals for users.
* Follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved.
* Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
* Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
Requirements:
* A bachelor`s degree (BSc/BA) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related discipline will be preferred.
* Proven experience in technical support or IT helpdesk roles
* Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software installation/troubleshooting.
* Familiarity with LAN/WAN networks, printers, and peripheral devices.
* Ability to run diagnostics, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
