**Job Summary:**
As a Recruiter II at OpenGov, you will be responsible for building teams that support the company’s mission of powering more effective and accountable government. This role involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle for roles primarily within the go-to-market organization, ensuring a fast, thoughtful process that reflects OpenGov’s values and high standards for talent. You will collaborate with hiring managers, senior recruiters, and operate with speed, rigor, and precision to identify, engage, and close top talent. **Responsibilities:**

* **Full-Cycle Recruitment:**
* Manage the complete recruiting process for assigned roles, focusing on individual contributor and early-career positions.
* Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand role requirements and desired candidate profiles.
* Source, screen, and present qualified candidates, managing the process from initial outreach to offer acceptance.
* Maintain accurate data and reporting in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably Ashby, to track pipeline progress and performance.
* **Collaboration and Stakeholder Partnership:**
* Partner closely with hiring managers to establish clear expectations, streamline processes, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
* Support Senior Recruiters and Recruiting Leadership on priority searches and broader hiring initiatives.
* Communicate progress and challenges clearly, escalating issues when necessary to maintain alignment and accelerate decision-making.
* **Sourcing and Talent Pipelining:**
* Proactively identify and engage passive candidates using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, and through referral networks.
* Develop and maintain talent pools for frequently hired roles.
* Contribute to market mapping and competitive research to inform recruitment strategies.
* **Candidate Experience:**
* Deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience that embodies OpenGov’s mission and values.
* Ensure timely communication and a strong representation of the OpenGov brand at every interaction point.
* Utilize sound judgment to assess candidate fit and alignment with OpenGov’s high-performance culture.
* **Operational Excellence:**
* Maintain data integrity within all recruiting systems to support reliable analytics and reporting.
* Execute recruiting processes with discipline, speed, and compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
* Contribute to process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency and consistency across the recruiting team.

**Required and Preferred Qualifications:**

* 2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
* Experience using applicant tracking systems (preferably Ashby) and sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter.
* Proven ability to manage multiple searches concurrently with precision and urgency.
* Excellent phone and video presence, with the ability to effectively qualify talent.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* A growth mindset, open to feedback, and a passion for continuous learning.

**Compensation:**
$75,000 – $93,500 (On-target range includes base salary plus variable compensation based on company and individual performance). Final compensation will depend on factors such as qualifications, expertise, and geographical location.
