## Job Description: Technical Project Manager at Optio
**About Optio:**
Optio is building a data-driven marketing automation platform that empowers businesses to understand their customers better and execute highly personalized marketing campaigns. We are a rapidly growing company, continuously enhancing our platform with new features and capabilities. Our development focuses on key challenges such as:
* Efficient processing of large datasets.
* Timely implementation of updates within client infrastructure.
* Seamless integration with client systems and data.
* Scalability and optimization.
**The Role:**
We are seeking a new team member, a Technical Project Manager, to ensure the smooth and transparent functioning of our release and deployment cycle. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire release process, from planning to successful handover to the client.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Planning and Control:**
* Define release timelines and scope in collaboration with the Product Owner.
* Daily monitoring of the development process.
* Timely identification and escalation of impediments.
2. **Quality & Readiness Assurance:**
* Coordinate the QA process and control the testing cycle.
* Ensure completion of the bug-fixing loop.
* Control the readiness of documentation, Release Notes, and deployment instructions.
3. **Deployment Management:**
* Organize the deployment process in internal (Staging/RC) and external (Production) environments.
* Coordinate the timing of updates with clients.
* Coordinate post-deployment verification.
* *Note: You will not be responsible for the technical execution of tasks, but you will ensure the process runs smoothly and releases are deployed on time and as planned.*
**Qualifications:**
**Required:**
* 2+ years of experience in managing and coordinating technological projects.
* In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); you must understand the journey of a task from idea to publication.
* Effective communication skills with technical teams and clients.
* Ability to manage not just tasks, but also expectations and risks.
**Preferred:**
* Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
* Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
* Experience in B2B product deployment.
