**About The Role:**
We are seeking an experienced Software QA Automation Engineer to join our engineering team in Tbilisi. The role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital banking platforms through automated testing frameworks. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to a modern automation infrastructure, and collaborate with developers and product teams.
**What You’ll Do:**
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
* Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve issues.
* Implement and optimize test automation within CI/CD pipelines.
* Perform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and API layers.
* Monitor and maintain test environments and results.
* Contribute to improving QA standards, documentation, and best practices.
* Participate in agile workflows, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
**Requirements:**
* Proven professional experience in manual and automated QA.
* Hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch, preferably using Playwright and TypeScript.
* Strong experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
* Solid understanding of software development, testing principles, and Agile/DevOps workflows.
* Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile apps (React Native experience is a plus).
* Experience in fast-paced startup environments with the ability to define QA strategy and processes.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
* Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership in a scaling environment.
**Nice to Have:**
* Experience with performance or security testing tools.
* Background in fintech or digital banking.
