**About the Role:**
We’re looking for an experienced Software QA Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Tbilisi. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital banking platforms through automated testing frameworks. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to a modern automation infrastructure, and collaborate closely with developers, and product teams.
**Responsibilities:**
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
* Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve issues throughout the software lifecycle.
* Implement and optimize test automation as part of the CI/CD pipeline for faster and more reliable releases.
* Perform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and API layers.
* Monitor and maintain test environments and results to ensure continuous test coverage.
* Contribute to improving QA standards, documentation, and best practices within the team.
* Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives as part of an agile workflow.
**Requirements:**
* Professional experience in QA automation.
* Proven hands-on experience with Playwright for automated testing.
* Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD environments (e.g., GitHub Actions).
* Solid understanding of software development and testing principles, including Agile and DevOps methodologies.
* Experience testing web-based applications and APIs.
* Experience using Bruno or Postman.
* Experience testing React Native on both Android and iOS is helpful but not required.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and English communication skills.
* Proactive and adaptable — thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling environment.
**Nice to Have:**
* Experience with performance or security testing tools.
* Background in fintech or digital banking is helpful but not essential.
