**Description:**

Playrix is seeking a Lead Unity Software Engineer specializing in Gameplay to join their team. This role involves people management, developing processes within teams, and contributing to the technical direction of projects. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring the stability and quality of the game’s software, conducting code and design reviews, and programming and refactoring game logic.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* **People Management:** Responsible for team development, hiring/firing, and performance evaluations.
* **Process Development:** Enhance development processes within teams and across the project.
* **Technical Leadership:** Address complex technical challenges, design solutions, and ensure efficient implementation.
* **Quality Assurance:** Oversee the stability and quality of the software components.
* **Code Review & Design Review:** Participate in and lead code and design reviews.
* **Programming:** Develop and refactor game logic.

**Technology Stack:**

* **Languages:** C++, Lua, Python
* **Graphics:** OpenGL ES and Metal
* **Engine:** In-house engine (similar to Unity or Unreal)
* **DevOps:** Advanced CI/CD, automated testing, code review processes.
* **AI Tools:** Cursor for development automation.

**Qualifications:**

* Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial projects using C++ and/or Unity.
* Experience with projects released in production.
* Minimum 1 year of experience managing a team of programmers (3+ people).

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Proficiency in modern C++ standards (14/17) and STL.
* Experience with popular game engines (Unity, Unreal, Godot, Cocos2D, Defold, etc.).
* Experience with AI development assistants (Cursor, Copilot, etc.).
* Experience in developing casual mobile games.
