Our mission is to connect authentic members with our clients’ market research surveys, delivering meaningful insights through online quantitative research. Role Overview: We’re looking for a Junior to Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our development team to help the infrastructure team and help us build, maintain, and improve the on-premises platform that powers our products. You’ll work closely with developers and DevOps professionals to keep our Kubernetes clusters humming, our deployments smooth, and our services reliable. Your main focus will be to automate deployments, help to build monitoring solutions, plan other improvements for infrastructure and data. This is a fully remote position and an excellent opportunity for someone who’s eager to deepen their expertise in DevOps overall, including infrastructure automation, and site reliability — all within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Help managing and maintain Kubernetes clusters and Helm chart deployments across our on-premises infrastructure
* Configure and optimize tools like HAProxy for load balancing, high availability, and traffic routing
* Monitor MariaDB, Valkey, ClickHouse, and RabbitMQ instances to ensure performance and uptime
* Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline code delivery for our PHP/Laravel applications
* Write Infrastructure-as-Code scripts and automation to reduce manual toil and increase repeatability
* Monitor system health, set up alerting, and respond to incidents to maintain service-level objectives
* Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize application performance
* Document runbooks, architecture decisions, and operational procedures
* Work closely with our dedicated external DevOps team

Your Skills:
Must-Haves:
* 1–3 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role
* Solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts (pods, services, deployments, namespaces)
* Experience with Helm for packaging and deploying applications
* Familiarity with Linux system administration (we run Debian/Ubuntu-based hosts)
* Working knowledge of at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, or similar)
* Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls)
* Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI or equivalent)

Nice-to-Haves:
* Experience operating MariaDB/MySQL, Redis/Valkey, ClickHouse, or RabbitMQ in Production
* Familiarity with HAProxy configuration and TLS termination
* Understanding of PHP/Laravel deployment workflows (Composer, Artisan, queue workers)
* Experience with monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OLK, etc.)
* Knowledge of container security best practices and image hardening

What We Offer:
* Fully remote work — work from anywhere that suits you
* Competitive salary aligned with your experience and skills
* Generous paid time off
* Budget for courses, certifications, and learning resources
* Modern equipment
* A collaborative, low-ego engineering culture where your ideas matter
* Clear career progression path from junior to senior and beyond

Important: We are not considering freelancers or engineers working on multiple projects simultaneously. This is a full-time position for a dedicated backend professional who’s ready to fully commit to a single product ecosystem and contribute meaningfully to its long-term success.
