As a Middle Manual QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform through thorough manual testing. You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to validate new features, identify issues, and support stable releases. This role is focused on hands-on manual testing, with an opportunity to gradually gain exposure to automation practices over time.
Responsibilities:
* Execute functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
* Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and basic test plans
* Validate backend functionality and APIs using tools like Postman
* Perform data validation and ensure correct system behavior
* Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps (Jira or similar)
* Collaborate with developers and product managers during grooming and sprint cycles
* Participate in release testing and ensure readiness of features
* Identify potential risks and edge cases during testing
* Contribute to improving QA processes, documentation, and workflows
* Support automation efforts where possible and grow in this direction
What We’re Looking For:
* 2+ years of experience in manual QA
* Solid understanding of software testing principles and SDLC
* Experience with Agile/Scrum workflows
* Basic experience in API testing (Postman or similar tools)
* Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
* Ability to clearly document and communicate issues
* Understanding of backend systems and data validation concepts
* Eagerness to learn automation tools and practices
* Good communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have:
* Experience in iGaming or similar real-time platforms
* Experience or interest in test automation (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.)
* Experience with Kafka or other streaming/event-driven technologies
* Coding background or hands-on scripting experience in any language (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Go, etc.)
* Familiarity with SQL for basic data checks
* Experience with test management tools (TestRail or similar)
* Understanding of event-driven systems or microservices architecture
