**About The Role:**
We are redefining User Acquisition (UA) as a service for our product teams. As the Head of User Acquisition, you will lead a department focused on UA-as-a-Service, centralizing operations, driving efficiencies, and establishing a unified strategy across paid traffic channels. You will manage a distributed team of UA Managers, acting as a strategic and operational bridge between product, creative, and analytics. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on scale, complexity, and data-driven execution.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Build and lead a centralized User Acquisition Department for multiple subscription products.
* Define and own the overall UA strategy across all platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.).
* Develop scalable processes, SOPs, testing frameworks, and reporting systems.
* Design UA OKRs/KPIs for both department-wide and individual team member success.
* Manage and mentor a team of cross-platform UA Managers.
* Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management for the UA function.
* Foster a high-talent-density culture focused on performance, collaboration, and growth.
* Oversee large-scale budget management, ensuring efficient CAC and positive ROAS.
* Develop and implement strategic growth plans based on LTV:CAC ratios, retention, onboarding conversion, and ARPU.
* Partner with data science to refine analytics and attribution models.
* Own the testing roadmap, including A/B tests, geo-expansion, channel scaling, and creative iteration.
* Collaborate with Managing Directors to align UA strategies with business goals.
* Work closely with creative leads to guide ad production with data-driven briefs.
* Manage vendor relationships with advertising platforms and tools.
**Qualifications:**
* 7+ years in performance marketing, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing UA at scale.
* Strong background in subscription-based D2C products, ideally across multiple verticals.
* Proven track record managing multi-million dollar monthly paid budgets.
* Experience managing and developing a team of at least 5–7 UA professionals.
* Deep platform knowledge: Meta, TikTok, Google, Pinterest, Snapchat, and other paid social/search/display.
* Experience building and scaling teams, setting KPIs, and leading under a centralized structure.
* Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with fluency in tools like Tableau, Google Analytics, Excel/SQL.
* Relentlessly driven, high-energy operator accustomed to fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
* Hands-on leader with a proactive and accountable approach.
* High standards and a focus on excellent execution.
* Performance-obsessed with a drive for rapid iteration and efficiency.
* Strong management instincts for hiring, coaching, and developing A-players.
* Commercially focused, understanding UA as a growth engine and thinking like a profit-focused entrepreneur.
**Location:**
Ruby Labs operates within the CET zone. Applicants should be located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET for optimal collaboration.
