About The Open Role
As a System Analyst, you are responsible for turning business needs and product ideas into clear, precise, and technically sound system specifications that engineering teams can confidently implement.
You sit at the intersection of business, product, and engineering. Your role is to deeply understand how systems work today, how they should evolve, and how new features or integrations will impact existing architecture, data flows, and services.
You work closely with Delivery Managers, developers, QA, DevOps, and Product to ensure that requirements are complete, feasible, and correctly understood before development starts — and correctly implemented afterward. While the Delivery Manager owns delivery flow and communication, you own system clarity and correctness.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing complex systems, thinking in flows and dependencies, documenting clearly, and preventing issues before they reach production. You are expected to think beyond “what needs to be built” and focus on how it fits into the overall system.
What You’ll Do
* Gather, analyze, and translate business and product requirements into clear, structured technical and system specifications;
* Validate requirements for technical feasibility, edge cases, dependencies, and impact on existing systems;
* Lead system analysis for new features, integrations, and architecture changes, ensuring alignment with current and future system design;
* Create, maintain, and continuously improve system documentation, including:
* system workflows and process flows;
* data flows and data models;
* API specifications and contracts;
* architecture and integration diagrams;
* Collaborate closely with developers, QA, DevOps, Delivery Managers, and Product to ensure correct understanding and implementation of requirements; Perform impact analysis for changes and releases, identifying risks, gaps, and dependencies across systems;
* Propose scalable and maintainable improvements to system design and data flows;
* Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support teams with clear findings and recommended fixes;
* Support QA by clarifying expected system behavior, edge cases, and acceptance criteria from a system perspective;
* Mentor junior analysts and contribute to improving analysis standards, documentation quality, and best practices across teams;
What You Bring
* 5+ years of experience as a System Analyst or in a similar analytical role within software development;
* Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery processes;
* Proven expertise in documenting functional and technical requirements, system flows, and specifications;
* Solid understanding of backend systems, APIs, integrations, databases, data flows, and system architecture;
* Ability to analyze complex systems and clearly explain findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
* Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and cross-team collaboration skills;
* Experience working in cross-functional, multi-team environments;
* Working Schedule: 11:00 — 19:00 (Tbilisi Time)
* Office Location: Stamba Hotel (14 M. Kostava street)
* Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
