**Job Description:**
Singular is seeking a talented Senior React Native Developer to build and maintain modern, scalable mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. This role involves leading technical discussions, mentoring team members, and contributing to the mobile architecture and best practices. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean code, mobile UI/UX, and continuous improvement.
**Responsibilities:**
* Lead and participate in technical design discussions and decision-making.
* Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers.
* Identify and drive improvements in mobile architecture and development processes.
* Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
* Build scalable and maintainable mobile UI components with a focus on performance and UX.
* Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product owners to implement mobile solutions.
* Integrate mobile apps with RESTful APIs and other third-party services.
* Write clean, reusable, and testable code.
* Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize mobile app performance.
* Contribute to documentation.
* Ensure device and OS compatibility.
* Participate in peer code reviews.
**Qualifications:**
* 5+ years of professional experience in mobile development, with a strong focus on React Native.
* Proven experience in leading complex mobile projects and mentoring developers.
* Experience with modern TypeScript React Native development.
* Hands-on experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs.
* Experience with the WebView component is a strong plus.
* Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, accessibility, and platform-specific design patterns.
* Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
* Experience in unit/integration testing for mobile apps is a plus.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, over-the-air updates, and performance monitoring tools.
* Experience with native modules and comfort working with platform-specific code (Java/Kotlin for Android, Swift/Objective-C for iOS).
* Deep expertise in the React Native ecosystem and advanced TypeScript knowledge.
* Strong experience in optimizing mobile applications for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
* Good grasp of component-based architecture, mobile navigation, and state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
* Proficient in version control using Git.
* Experience with mobile testing tools (e.g., Jest, Detox) is a plus.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile build/deployment automations (e.g., Fastlane).
* Knowledge of native development and creating custom native modules.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment strategies (e.g., Firebase, AWS).
* Proficient in written and verbal English communication.
