**Job Title:** Team Lead – Mobile Squad

**Role Overview:**
The Team Lead for the Mobile (React Native) team will lead, mentor, and guide engineers and quality assurance specialists. The role requires technical expertise in React Native, strong leadership, and people management skills to deliver high-quality mobile applications. The position allows for a hybrid work approach.
**Responsibilities:**
* **Technical Leadership & Guidance:**
* Facilitate technical excellence in collaboration with the Principal Engineer and Solution Architect.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the React Native team.
* Participate in technical design discussions and problem-solving.
* Oversee code quality and adherence to coding guidelines.
* Act as a key technical escalation point for the team.
* **Team Leadership & People Management:**
* Serve as the direct line manager for technical team members.
* Conduct regular 1:1s, set goals, provide feedback, and lead performance reviews.
* Build and nurture a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
* Manage team capacity, facilitate task allocation, and ensure balanced workload distribution.
* Analyze team metrics to identify improvement areas and implement action plans.
* **Quality Assurance & Automation Oversight:**
* Partner with QA Leadership to define and implement testing strategies.
* Support and guide QA Automation Engineers in building automation frameworks.
* Champion a strong quality mindset within the development lifecycle.
* **Collaboration & Communication:**
* Represent the team’s technical capabilities and needs.
* Communicate progress, challenges, and strategic direction to management.
* Collaborate with Product Owners and UX/UI Designers.
* Partner with Scrum Master, QA Leadership, Product Manager/Owner, and DevOps for team performance and improvement.
**Required Qualifications:**
* 5+ years of experience in mobile application development, with at least 2+ years in React Native.
* 1+ years of experience in a leadership role (Team Lead, Senior Software Engineer leading a sub-team, or Tech Lead). Direct line management experience is a strong plus.
* Deep expertise in React Native technology and its ecosystem.
* Experience with monorepo setups.
**Knowledge:**
* Understanding of mobile application architecture patterns (Clean Architecture, MVVM).
* Experience with mobile testing methodologies and tools.
* Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
* Experience with version control systems (Git).
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment.
* Experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development is a strong plus.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies is a bonus.
* Prior experience in the iGaming industry is preferred.
* Experience working in a Tribe-based organizational structure is a nice-to-have.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
