The Senior Analyst, IT Procurement will be responsible for supporting IT procurement processes and initiatives. This role will involve analyzing spend, identifying cost-saving opportunities, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. The Senior Analyst will work closely with IT stakeholders to understand their technology needs and translate them into effective procurement strategies. Key responsibilities include:
* **Spend Analysis:** Conduct detailed analysis of IT spend across various categories (hardware, software, services, cloud).
* **Cost Optimization:** Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, including contract renegotiations, volume discounts, and alternative sourcing strategies.
* **Vendor Management:** Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors, monitor performance, and manage contract renewals.
* **Sourcing and RFx Management:** Support the end-to-end sourcing process, including preparing Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
* **Contract Review:** Review and analyze IT contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions, and mitigating risks.
* **Stakeholder Engagement:** Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and finance to understand requirements and provide procurement expertise.
* **Process Improvement:** Identify opportunities to streamline and improve IT procurement processes and tools.
* **Compliance:** Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
* **Market Research:** Stay abreast of emerging technologies, market trends, and supplier landscapes relevant to IT procurement.
* **Reporting:** Develop and present procurement-related reports and dashboards to management.
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement, sourcing, or a related procurement role.
* Proven experience with spend analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
* Strong understanding of IT hardware, software, and services procurement.
* Experience with contract negotiation and management.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle).
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with cloud procurement models is a plus.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are desirable.
