**Responsibilities:**
* Design, manage, and patch RedHat and Debian based Linux environments, ensuring robustness and stability.
* Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, leveraging Kubernetes for orchestration.
* Implement and maintain microservices architecture; manage advanced load balancing solutions to ensure optimal distribution of traffic and resources.
* Configure and manage virtual environments using VMware and ESXi.
* Develop and support Single Sign-On solutions to streamline authentication processes across platforms.
* Utilize tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Cisco AppDynamics for comprehensive IT service monitoring.
* Implement automation using scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, Python, or Ruby.
* Manage and troubleshoot basic network infrastructures including subnetting, VLANs, and routing.
* Utilize advanced Git techniques to maintain and track configurations and codebases.
* Work closely with IT and development teams to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
**Qualifications:**
* Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a DevOps role.
* Profound knowledge of IT infrastructure and extensive experience managing Linux environments.
* Strong familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
* Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, ESXi) and identity management systems.
* Proficiency in using IT service monitoring software and implementing microservices architectures.
* Skill in scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby) and a solid understanding of network fundamentals.
* Demonstrated ability to manage load balancers and a thorough understanding of version control using Git.
* Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible is a plus.
* Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies is a plus.
* Knowledge of security configuration and analysis is a plus.
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certificate is a plus.
