TBC Bank Group PLC established Space International with the strategic aim of facilitating the group’s global expansion efforts. In 2018, the team successfully introduced the pioneering neobank, Space, in Georgia. Building upon this success, subsequent efforts were directed towards the creation and launch of the fully digital bank in Uzbekistan, TBC UZ, in 2020. In a significant move towards enhancing its foothold in the Uzbek market, the group acquired Payme, a prominent local payments provider and esteemed brand among the Uzbek populace, in 2023.

Presently, a dedicated team of 1,700 professionals representing 17 nationalities collaborates to advance TBC’s international presence. Space International spearheads the provision of cutting-edge technologies and top-tier professional services, while the local teams at Payme and TBC Uzbekistan drive sustained growth and operational excellence.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient **Monitoring Engineer** to join the operations team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for continuously monitoring the health, performance, and availability of infrastructure and applications. This position plays a critical role in the early detection of incidents, ensuring timely notification to relevant teams and contributing to the overall stability and reliability of the IT environment.

**Primary Focus**

System Monitoring & Alert Management

Continuously monitor systems, applications, and network performance using **Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, and ELK Stack**.

* Detect, validate, and monitor incoming alerts in Jira Service Management, ensuring accurate communication to responsible teams.
* Maintain monitoring dashboards, tune alerting configurations, and document all actions taken.
* Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to ensure system uptime and performance.

Incident Handling & Communication

* Participate in the incident management process by identifying and reporting issues quickly and accurately.
* Provide clear and timely status updates to internal stakeholders.
* Support post-incident reviews using monitoring data, logs, and trend analysis.

Process Improvement

* Identify recurring or false alerts to refine and improve monitoring configurations.
* Update internal procedures, knowledge base articles, and operational documentation to improve operational efficiency.

**Qualifications**

* Minimum 1 year of experience in technical operations, monitoring, or a NOC (Network Operations Center) role.
* Hands-on experience with Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, AppDynamics, or similar monitoring tools.
* Familiarity with Jira Service Management or similar ticketing systems.
* Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and application performance monitoring.
* Ability to interpret system logs, visualize metrics, and identify anomalies.
* Familiarity with incident management processes.
* English proficiency is required (written and spoken).
* Russian language skills at a conversational level are considered an advantage.
* Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* A proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement.

**Work Schedule**

This role operates on a 12-hour shift rotation to ensure continuous monitoring coverage. The schedule follows a 2-shifts / 3-days-off rotation, meaning employees work two consecutive 12-hour shifts followed by three days off.

**Night shifts can be performed remotely from home.**
