**Job Description:**
TAZE Technologies is looking for a Junior BI Developer to join their innovative and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of experience in BI/analytics, with hands-on exposure to Amazon QuickSight. Strong SQL fundamentals are required, and familiarity with AWS data services like Redshift, Athena, RDS, and S3 is a plus. The role involves building and updating QuickSight dashboards, writing SQL queries, preparing and managing datasets, and supporting administrative tasks in QuickSight. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (upper-intermediate or higher) are essential. Bonus points for AWS CLI basics and Python skills for data tasks.
**Responsibilities:**
* Build and update QuickSight dashboards and visuals from defined requirements.
* Write SQL for queries, views, and basic transformations.
* Prepare and manage datasets, including connections, refresh schedules, and calculated fields.
* Support administrative tasks in QuickSight (users/groups, folder permissions, basic row-level security) with guidance.
* Connect QuickSight to AWS data sources using documented runbooks.
* Validate data, troubleshoot issues, and document findings and fixes.
* Maintain clear documentation for dashboards, metrics, and processes.
* Run simple QuickSight-related commands via AWS CLI as part of deployment checklists.
**Qualifications:**
* 0-2 years of experience in BI/analytics (internships or projects are welcome).
* Hands-on exposure to Amazon QuickSight.
* Solid SQL fundamentals (joins, aggregations; window functions are a plus).
* Familiarity with AWS data services (Redshift, Athena, RDS, S3).
* Understanding of data modeling and KPI definition.
* Clear written and verbal communication in English (upper-intermediate or higher).
* Bonus: AWS CLI basics for QuickSight, Python for data tasks.
