We are looking for a pragmatic and innovative Backend & Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain workflow automation, backend services, and AI integrations across our digital ecosystem.
**Your Role at TNET:**
* **Workflow Orchestration:** Automate processes using workflow automation tools such as n8n.
* **AI Integration:** Work with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and potentially Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
* **Backend Development:** Develop scripts, microservices, or Cloud Functions using Python.
* **Data & Database Management:** Manage databases and work with data warehouses efficiently.
* **DevOps & Cloud:** Work with AWS/GCP, setup CI/CD pipelines (even limited experience or strong willingness to learn is fine).
* **Reliability:** Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for critical projects.
**What We Are Looking For:**
* **Experience:** 3+ years in backend roles or Data Engineering and any programming languages (PHP, TypeScript, Python etc).
* **Python Proficiency:** Strong experience with Python is a big benefit, API development (FastAPI/Flask).
* **AI/LLM Experience:** Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, LangChain, or vector databases (Pinecone, pgvector).
* **CI/CD:** Experience setting up GitHub Actions or GitLab CI for workflow and code automation.
**We’d love candidates to have experience with:**
* Docker
* PHP, Javascript, Python (if not known, the candidate will learn and work with them).
