Middle DevOps Engineer
Location: Tbilisi, Nutsubidze 129a
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
* Assist in deploying, configuring, and managing AWS services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform under the guidance of senior engineers.
* Help implement and maintain monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Zabbix.
* Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the development lifecycle and ensure smooth delivery workflows.
* Contribute to enforcing security best practices across infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
* Troubleshoot common infrastructure and application issues, escalating complex problems when needed.
* Participate in the automation and optimization of deployment and release processes.
* Contribute to researching and piloting new tools and technologies that can improve operational efficiency.
* Work with Docker and assist in managing Kubernetes clusters in development and testing environments.
* Keep up with evolving DevOps tools and trends to support ongoing improvements in team practices.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or a related role.
* Good knowledge of Docker and basic experience with Kubernetes.
* Hands-on experience with AWS and familiarity with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
* Understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with GitLab CI/CD or equivalent.
* Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix.
* Some experience with log aggregation and analysis tools (e.g., Loki, Graylog).
* Scripting ability in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
* Working knowledge of Linux-based systems (Ubuntu, RedHat).
* Basic understanding of security principles in DevOps environments.
