**Job Description:**
TNET is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build its product analytics data infrastructure using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and BigQuery. This role will be responsible for both implementation and architecture design.
**Responsibilities:**
* Design and implement data architecture for product analytics using GA4 and BigQuery.
* Develop efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for GA4 event data.
* Create optimized data models enabling self-service analytics.
* Ensure data quality, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
* Document and maintain the data infrastructure.
**Qualifications:**
* 5+ years of data engineering experience.
* Strong expertise with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform or data warehouses based on PostgreSQL.
* Experience with event-based data architectures.
* Proficiency in SQL.
* Knowledge of data modeling principles.
* Experience with data pipeline orchestration.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience with dbt for data transformations.
* Familiarity with GA4 data structures.
* Some experience in real-time data processing.
* Familiarity with OLAP databases (Clickhouse, Starrocks DB).
**Soft Skills:**
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
* Adaptable, resilient, and open to change.
* Excellent communication skills (explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders).
* Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions.
* Collaborative team player.
