* **Technology Selection:** Evaluate and recommend the most suitable backend technologies, frameworks, and tools.
* **Specification Review:** Analyze, refine, and approve specifications and technical requirements for service development across teams.
* **System Integration:** Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration between backend systems, frontend components, databases, third-party services, and APIs.
* **Scalability, Performance & Reliability:** Design systems that can handle high traffic loads while ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through profiling, tuning, and optimization. Guarantee high availability where required.
* **Code Quality & Standards:** Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and guidelines to maintain high code quality and readability.
* **Documentation:** Ensure comprehensive technical documentation of internal systems, including architectural diagrams, API specifications, data storage descriptions, and deployment procedures.
* **Problem Solving:** Analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions to resolve them in a timely manner.

**What makes you the perfect fit 🤝**

* 10+ years of experience in backend development (our stack includes Go, Java, and Python), with at least 3 years in an architect role focused on distributed, high-load systems.
* Strong background in object-oriented design, multithreading, SQL/NoSQL databases, and distributed systems.
* Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or similar platforms.
* Solid knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker.
* Strong engineering mindset — thoughtful judgment, analytical thinking, the ability to reason abstractly, a healthy level of bias backed by experience, openness to alternative opinions, and a collaborative attitude.
