**Role Description**
**Job Summary**
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer – Fresher who is eager to learn and grow in cloud, automation, and CI/CD practices. The candidate will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to support application deployments, automation, and infrastructure management under the guidance of senior DevOps engineers.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
* Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployments
* Support cloud infrastructure setup and monitoring (AWS / Azure / GCP)
* Work with version control systems like Git and GitHub
* Assist in containerization of applications using Docker
* Learn and support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or ARM templates
* Monitor application and infrastructure health using basic logging and monitoring tools
* Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot build and deployment issues
* Document processes, configurations, and learnings
* Follow DevOps best practices, security guidelines, and automation standards
**Technical Skills (Required)**
* Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and lifecycle
* Knowledge of Linux fundamentals (commands, processes, file systems)
* Familiarity with Git / GitHub
* Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps – any one)
* Understanding of Cloud fundamentals (AWS / Azure – services like VM, Storage, Networking)
* Basic scripting knowledge (any one): Shell, Python
**Good To Have (Preferred)**
* Hands-on exposure to Docker and basic container concepts
* Awareness of Kubernetes (theoretical knowledge is acceptable for freshers)
* Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
* Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch
* Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodology
**Educational Qualification**
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
* Relevant DevOps / Cloud certifications are a plus (AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, etc.)
