**Unreal Engine Senior Developer**
Veinspire Games is seeking an experienced Unreal Engine Senior Developer to join their team. The role is remote and project-based, with compensation through profit-sharing.
**Responsibilities:**
* Design core architecture and modular systems for UE4/UE5 projects.
* Lead development of gameplay, AI, UI, networking, and tools.
* Profile and optimize CPU/GPU performance across platforms (PC, console, mobile).
* Set and enforce coding standards, perform code reviews, and refactor as needed.
* Build editor tools, scripts, and streamline pipelines.
* Collaborate with producers and designers to plan sprints and define feasible technical solutions.
* Mentor and support the UE team, fostering a culture of clean code and problem-solving.
**Requirements:**
* 6+ years of experience in game development, with at least 3 years using Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5).
* Experience in a lead or senior role on shipped titles.
* Proficiency in C++ (modern standards), Gameplay Framework, Blueprints, UMG, physics, animation, and replication.
* Ability to work with engine source code.
* Skilled in performance optimization using tools like Unreal Insights, RenderDoc, and PIX.
* Experience with multi-platform optimization (console/mobile) is a plus.
* Proven ability to build scalable systems, manage large codebases, and apply design patterns.
* Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring development teams.
* Strong communication and planning skills.
* Bonus points for experience with TRC compliance, platform SDKs, or mobile performance constraints.
