**Key responsibilities**

* Act as the Owner’s on-site technical representative, ensuring compliance with design requirements, IFC drawings, and contractual obligations
* Provide daily engineering supervision across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works
* Monitor and coordinate the activities of multiple subcontractors, ensuring proper interface management and scope alignment
* Review and verify implementation of key technical risk areas, including:
* DC/AC trenching quality and protection of underground cables
* Foundation depth, pile driving, and corrosion protection measures
* Civil works, special cement requirements, and geotechnical considerations
* Drainage systems, ravine crossings, and hydrological protection measures
* Ensure construction activities adhere to approved design assumptions (wind loads, structural calculations, mounting system specifications)
* Support QA/QC activities, including inspections, punch lists, and verification of corrective actions
* Oversee commissioning preparation and alignment between EPC contractor, Voltares’ Engineer, and Owner
* Prepare weekly technical progress reports, including photographic documentation
* Identify deviations, delays, or risks early and propose engineering-based mitigation measures
* Coordinate closely with E&S and HSE Officers on issues where technical works overlap with environmental, social, or safety risks

**Qualifications & Experience**

* Degree in Civil, Electrical, Structural, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
* Minimum 3 years of experience in construction supervision of utility-scale solar PV, substations, transmission lines, or similar large infrastructure projects
* Proven experience in site supervision and QA/QC
* Strong ability to interpret IFC drawings, structural calculations, geotechnical reports, and hydrological assessments
* Familiarity with international standards (Eurocodes, IEC standards for PV, civil and electrical works)
* Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills
* Fluent Georgian and English or German (written and spoken) are mandatory

**Additional Information**

* This is a full-time, on-site position during the construction phase
* The role strengthens Voltares’ independent technical oversight in line with the lender expectations.
* Formal employment contract in compliance with Georgian labor law
* Compensation for this position will be determined in accordance with Georgian labor law and will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, professional experience, and educational background.
