We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our cross-functional team responsible for maintaining and extending our internal iGaming platform. This is a high-impact role with ownership over key backend systems. The role requires hands-on development and a proactive approach to challenges.

Key Responsibilities
● Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using PHP and CodeIgniter 3 & 4.
● Work closely with Product Owner and Team Lead to refine user stories and estimate technical effort.
● Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
● Debug, profile, and optimize application performance and security.
● Document code and share knowledge with the team through reviews and mentoring.
● Contribute to platform scalability, reliability, and automation initiatives.

What We’re Looking For
● 4+ years of PHP development experience (CodeIgniter 3 & 4 or similar MVC framework).
● Solid understanding of containerization and microservices architecture (Docker).
● Experience working with APIs, caching systems, and cloud-based file storage.
● Familiarity with AWS environments and infrastructure best practices.
● Strong Git workflow knowledge and comfort with CI/CD pipelines.
● Ability to handle shifting priorities.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills.
